Hi ✌🏻 I'm Zoe

A learning experience designer and STEM educator creating experiences for the next generation

About Me

Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m passionate about creating playful, hands-on, and accessible learning products for kids. Over the past five years, I’ve designed STEM curricula, robotics kits, and creative coding programs that have been used in over 50 schools across Canada.

I have a background in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University and have published research in child-computer interaction. My work combines UX design, AR, app development, and 3D environments in Unity to build engaging and meaningful learning experiences for young people.

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Creative Education at the Royal College of Art in London, England, where I’m focused on designing for learning and exploring how thoughtful, inclusive design can encourage curiosity and help support the next generation of creators.

Vision

To reimagine how young people learn through playful, story-driven STEM kits that use tactile tools and creative coding to inspire curiosity, empathy, and real-world problem-solving.

Mission

To build accessible, research-informed learning experiences that blend design, technology, and education—fostering creativity, confidence, and measurable impact in diverse classrooms.

Stem/Steam

To create inclusive, hands-on STEM experiences that integrate storytelling, coding, and physical making—bridging learning science with thoughtful design to support meaningful educational outcomes.

Learning Design

A curated collection of STEM curriculum and product design work showcasing the integration of design, coding, and electronics. Features hands-on projects developed and delivered for children, incorporating tools such as laser cutting, 3D printing, and coding platforms. Each project emphasizes creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving within a STEM education context.

Stem Curriculum

This collection highlights STEM curriculum and product design projects that integrate design, coding, and electronics. It includes hands-on learning experiences developed and taught to children, using tools such as laser cutting, 3D printing, and various coding platforms to foster creativity and technical exploration.

Instructional Guides

A collection of instructional guides designed to help students build, program, and troubleshoot robotics projects. Each guide offers clear, step-by-step support, encouraging independent learning, technical confidence, and hands-on problem-solving.

Maker Project Kits

A selection of robotics project kits developed to provide hands-on learning experiences focused on the fundamentals of circuitry. Each kit was designed to reinforce core electronics concepts through interactive builds that promote experimentation, problem-solving, and applied technical skills.
