Electric Piano Circuit Build Interactive Electronics Project

Role: Project Kit Designer and Developer

Created an instructional workbook to guide students through the design and assembly of a functioning electric piano using basic electronic components. The project combined circuit-building with physical assembly to provide a comprehensive introduction to electronics and sound output.

Learning Objectives:

  • Constructed a working circuit using a timer chip, buzzer, capacitors, resistors, breadboard, and wiring.
  • Practiced precision component placement, including tactile switches and timer microchips.
  • Explored electrical principles such as resistor values and wire connections.
Integrated LEDs and buzzers to produce musical output.
  • Assembled the piano’s wooden casing to understand the relationship between electronics and physical product design.

Outcome:
Students gained hands-on experience in circuit construction and interactive hardware, reinforcing foundational electronics knowledge through a creative, sound-producing project.
